John 14:1-3 (NLT) 1“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. 2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.”
Heaven or Hell is not only a state of Emotional Being, like; you are in heaven if you are in utmost peace, or leaping with overwhelming joy in love. Or on the other hand, you are in hell; if you are distress, bursting with anger in hate. Also, It is not only a way of Spiritual Being; as our body as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 6:19), or when the devil spirit posses someone’s body (John 8:48). Heaven or Hell is also a place, but a place beyond human imagination. 1 Corinthians 2:9 9 says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”.
This place prepared for those who love Him is called Father’s home in today’s verse, His dwelling place, the Heaven in Deuteronomy 26:15. Our dwelling place with GOD with His presence as our Father and us His children is called Heaven. I say His presence because as Almighty GOD, this dwelling place called Heaven prepared for us by GOD can contain us but cannot contain Him as the Almighty GOD. 2 Chronicles 2:6 says “Not even the highest heavens can contain Him!” GOD is not bound of Physical Law of Space-Time Dimension nor Spiritual dimensions. HE has no beginning and no end, HE is the Alpha and the Omega (Rev 1:8). But GOD because HE is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniloving GOD, there is no impossible for Him (Matt 19:26). At His will, HE could contain Himself as GOD, The Father, in Heaven that HE prepared for us, His children. HE had done it before when HE contained himself as GOD, The Word in the Virgin’s womb, became flesh and dwelt among us, became the Son of Man Jesus called Immanuel, which means GOD is with us (John 1:1-14, Isaiah 7:14). Thus, it is not impossible that GOD created Heaven, our dwelling place with Him that He prepared for us in Spiritual realm. His dwelling place with us, the Heaven is where we can worship Him perpetually (Rev. 4:8). The dwelling place as a reward to those who love Him should certainly be different from the place of punishment for those who reject Him, the Hell, with GOD, in His presence as The Eternal Fire (2Ch 7:3, Matt 25:41).
On the other side, the New Testament mentioned Kingdom of Heaven that is here on earth or that is in your heart (Matt 13:11). Kingdom of Heaven in this regard is not pertaining to what GOD prepared for us. The Kingdom of Heaven is a condition of who is ruling in one’s heart (Luke 17:21, Matt.23:28) and not a place or state of being. We could be sad or suffering, but the Kingdom of Heaven still rules our hearts, or we say; “The Kingdom of Heaven is in us.” As a condition, then it become a pre-requisite to His promised Eternal Life and not a state of being or a place, it is only a condition of one’s faith.
Now to prove Heaven as place was prepared for us, that what HE prepared is not only joy and peace and love, and the state of our spirituality, that there is real dwelling place for us to be with His presence, GOD showed us this place through Moses. In Exodus 25:8,9,40, HE asked Moses to make a replica of the Tent in Heaven so HE can live among them. Hebrew 8:5 says, “They serve in a system of worship that is only a copy, a shadow of the real one in heaven.” HE prepared a place in heaven ahead of time. As our Father, GOD, The Divine Love, HE make sure that we can enter in Heaven by making us holy through the most holy blood and body of His Son Jesus as our perfect sacrifice on the cross (Heb. 9:14). Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit continue cleansing us by washing with water through the word, so as to present us to Himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless (Ephesians 5:26-27).
Heaven therefore is a state of being peace and joy (no more tears), being in love with GOD and love by GOD and a place where we can be in His presence, while Hell is a state of gnashing of teeth, hate and distress, a place for tormenting by GOD, as Eternal Fire in Spiritual dominion (2Ch 7:3, Matt 25:41).
